Doha exhibition to highlight HVAC sector’s growth
The regional market for the heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) sector is expected to grow at an average 9% annually, highlighting its increasing importance to the construction industry.
 
The international exhibition for Cooling, Heating, Refrigeration and Insulation (CHRVI) Middle East, to be held from June 4 to 6 at the Doha Exhibition Center, aims to meet the demands of the industry for potential energy use reduction and to present the latest available technologies in the industry.
 
Sponsored by Mannai Trading Company, Toshiba Air Conditioning and the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers and organized by Heights Exhibitions and Conferences, CHRVI Middle East will focus on the latest technologies in the fields of cooling, heating, refrigeration, ventilation and insulation in the manufacturing and commercial sectors.
 
“The exhibition coincides with the fast development of the State of Qatar in construction, building and the preparation of World Cup projects,” said Waleed Wahba, CEO, Heights Exhibitions and Conferences, during a press conference dedicated to the announcement of the event.
 
The press conference was attended by Khalid Al Mannai, Executive Director, and Aleck Grewal, CEO, Mannai Trading Company, and Hideyuki Kumazawa , Toshiba’s Director EMEA,  and Hassan Sultan, President of ASHRAE Oryx Qatar.
 
CHRVI Qatar will be targeting thousands of industry professionals, suppliers and producers to meet the specialists from over 20 countries, displaying the latest technologies in Heating, Cooling, Refrigeration, Ventilation and Isolation System on a space of 5,000sqm.
 
More than 100 local, regional, and international companies will take part in the exhibition featuring building services, trade buyers, specifies, consultants, engineers, project managers, technicians and end users.
 
Wahba pointed out that Heights Exhibitions & Conferences had prepared an ambitious five-year plan to make Doha a top meeting place for experts in the region.

ASHRAE Research 2011-2012
